| Stratford Retail Radio Link is the ‘shop watch’ scheme in Stratford-upon-Avon. Retailers, Pubs, Restaurants and other businesses are in communication with the CCTV control room, the Police and each other on a daily basis. The aim of the scheme is to reduce theft and anti social behaviour in the town centre. CCTV cameras operated by Stratford on Avon District Council monitor the town centre and any incidents or observations are communicated instantaneously to Retail Radio Link members. |

I wish to become part of the scheme
A committee of retailers and business owners in the town who meet quarterly runs Stratford Retail Radio Scheme (SRRL). The Town Management Partnership and Stratford District Council support the committee. The SSRL is the only recognised scheme that is supported by the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, which includes Warwickshire Police.
Each user signs a licence agreement to use the scheme. Radio’s can be purchased or rented.
The Retail Radio Link connects retailers, licensed premises, businesses and the Police to the Stratford on Avon District Council CCTV control room.
The scheme gives each radio user a unique identity to enable CCTV to know who is calling in and if the red panic button is pressed on the radio, who is in distress.
Police Officers in the town are also connected to the link. In the evening the scheme is used by public houses and licensed premises.
There is only one supplier to the scheme.
The scheme is available to any business in the town centre subject to approval by the Retail Radio Link Committee. You can call 01789 299011 for an application form or email julie@stratfordtcm.co.uk
Membership of the scheme automatically gives you membership of the Warwickshire Retail Crime Initiative (WRCI)
